Insights into Adaptive Learning: Student Attitudes, Outcomes, and Behaviors
1 October 2018, 14:20 – 15:00
Amur
We present results from collaborative research on adaptive learning between two universities, the University of Central Florida and Colorado Technical University, and the adaptive learning vendor Realizeit. The research went beyond the usual focus on student outcomes by investigating their attitudes across different college settings, as well as the new learning behaviors and patterns, and gains in student outcomes, that can emerge in adaptive learning. Suspending the vendor/university relationship allows for collaborative research partnerships that should become the new normal in higher education.
